After the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper, production activities generating strange odors at Trung Nghia Tunnel Brick Factory have stopped, people are happy when fresh air returns.

Previously, many households living in Phong Doanh commune, Ninh Binh province, living near the Trung Nghia tunnel brick factory area in An Do village, Tan Minh commune, Ninh Binh province, reflected on the situation of strange odors spreading, affecting residential areas. According to residents, the smell of burning plastic is very unpleasant, especially in the evening and at night. The strange smell becomes stronger when the weather is hot or there is strong wind. This situation has been going on for a long time but has not been thoroughly handled. Many families have to regularly close their doors to limit odors from flying into their houses.

Upon receiving the information, PV of Lao Dong Newspaper recorded the reality and reflected the opinions of the people to the local authorities. At the time PV was present, recycling and production of plastic products such as buckets and basins for construction and animal husbandry were taking place inside the factory premises.

After Lao Dong Newspaper reflected, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters continued to record in the area of Trung Nghia Tunnel Brick Factory, all machinery related to the production of buckets and plastic basins had been dismantled. Workers are cleaning up, transporting equipment, raw materials and remaining products out of the factory area.

Regarding the above issue, a representative of Tan Minh Commune People's Committee, Ninh Binh province, said that immediately after receiving the reflection from Lao Dong Newspaper, the local government established an inspection team to verify the content of environmental pollution in production in the Trung Nghia Tunnel Brick Factory area.

According to people living near the area, recently, when the production of buckets and plastic basins in the area of Trung Nghia Tunnel Brick Factory stopped, the situation of strange odors no longer appeared as before.

As one of the households living near the factory area, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, residing in Phong Doanh commune, Ninh Binh province, said: "About a month ago, every evening the whole family had to close the doors. Many days when eating rice, we also smelled a very unpleasant smell. Since Lao Dong Newspaper and our people spoke out, local authorities intervened to inspect, in recent days, we no longer smell that smell. All activities have returned to normal, so everyone is excited.

Similarly, many people living near the Trung Nghia Tunnel Brick Factory area also expressed their joy when the fresh air returned after a long time of being affected by strange odors generated from the production facility.

The remedy of the strange smell situation has brought joy to many households living around the area. People expressed their desire for Lao Dong Newspaper to continue to accompany, listen to and reflect on people's livelihood issues to contribute to protecting the legitimate rights of the people.
