The total public investment plan for 2025 assigned by the Prime Minister to Ninh Binh province is over VND28,000 billion, to date the total disbursed capital of the province is estimated to reach about 94% of the assigned plan. Ninh Binh is one of the localities with the highest public investment disbursement rate in the country.
According to Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc, to achieve this result, Ninh Binh province has focused on directing drastically and synchronously the solutions from the beginning of the year.
The province always identifies public investment disbursement as one of the top important tasks to promote growth and socio-economic development. The province has soon established Steering Committees to direct the acceleration of the disbursement of public investment capital.
In particular, after the merger, the province has quickly stabilized the operation of local government at both levels, continuing to focus on accelerating the progress of project implementation and disbursing public investment capital.
For all projects invested by the old district level, 100% will be handed over to the provincial level or provincial public service units for management so as not to be interrupted or delayed.
The province has also accelerated investment procedures and site clearance, strictly controlled the quality of consultation and selected capable contractors, flexibly transferred capital from slow projects to projects quickly and proactively removed difficulties in material supply.
For each large and key project, the province has assigned the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee to be responsible according to the assigned areas and have weekly reports and monthly meetings to announce results, remove difficulties, actively exchange and share experiences between units.
"From now until the end of the year, Ninh Binh province committed to the Government and the Prime Minister to complete the disbursement of 100% of public investment capital in 2025 according to the set plan. For national key projects being implemented in the province, we will strive to complete them before the required time" - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc affirmed.
