Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision on the investment policy for the urgent treatment project of Hai Thinh III sea dike (section from K25+000 - K27+120) belonging to Hai Hau sea dike and new construction of culvert 1/5, Hai Thinh commune.
According to the decision, the project belongs to group B, invested by Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 of the province, with a total investment of 230 billion VND. The project implementation period is from 2026 to 2028.
The scale of investment, upgrading and expanding the dyke surface, dyke embankment, building a wave shield for the Hai Thinh III sea dyke (section from K25+000 - K27+120) with a length of about 2.12km and new construction to replace the 1/5 culvert at K5+968 on the left side of the Ninh Co river mouth dike.
After completion, the project will contribute to preventing shore erosion, strengthening the safety of existing sea dikes to protect residents and essential infrastructure inside the dike, serving disaster prevention and control; improving the effectiveness of flood prevention, tidal control, salt control, freshwater maintenance and drainage, contributing to stabilizing population and socio-economic development in the area.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to guide the Ninh Binh Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 to complete the dossier and procedures of the above project, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law.
