Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the investment project to build a bridge across the Day River and the road connecting Ngo Gia Tu street with Phu Van bridge, Phu Ly city (now Phu Van ward, Ninh Binh province).
According to the decision, the project has a total length of about 1,104m, including the Day River overpass about 309m long and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge about 795m long. The total land use area is about 4.712ha. The total investment of the project is more than 550 billion VND, from the provincial budget. The project is implemented in the period 2026 - 2028.
The starting point of the route intersects with the intersection of Ngo Gia Tu street and Ly Thuong Kiet street; the ending point connects with the intersection between Nguyen Thien street and Nguyen An Ninh street.
The bridge across the Day River is newly built with reinforced concrete, with a width of 21m.
The connecting road is designed according to the standard of urban main roads combined with regional roads, design speed of 60 km/h.
The investment in building a bridge across the Day River and connecting roads will contribute to completing the urban transport network, strengthening connectivity between regions, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development, urban space embellishment and improving the quality of transport infrastructure of Ninh Binh province.
