Ninh Thuan - The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ninh Thuan province will launch a 9-day and night campaign to join hands in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee has just signed a plan to deploy a plan to organize a 9-day and night campaign in response to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Accordingly, localities focus on propagating the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses to all cadres, civil servants, agencies, businesses and people in the province so that all people know and respond to participate in the movement voluntarily, voluntarily and urgently.

At the same time, focus resources, speed up the construction and repair of houses with funding from support sources from the State budget according to the new construction norms of 60 million VND/house and repair of 30 million VND/house and socialized sources.

The campaign will be implemented over 90 days and nights, starting from April 1 to June 30. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment as the standing agency of the Steering Committee, advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize inspections and urge localities to organize implementation, report progress and results to the Steering Committee every week and according to urgent requirements, the implementation results.

Direct specialized agencies to coordinate and guide localities in preparing procedures for land allocation and land use conversion for households subject to the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses.

In case the land for housing construction has not been granted a Certificate of residential land use rights, the People's Committee at the commune level shall be instructed to issue a document confirming the suitability of the planning, land use plan, and construction plan for housing construction according to regulations to implement and contribute to the completion of the campaign.

The Department of Construction coordinates with the People's Committees of districts and cities in inspecting and supervising the implementation of housing construction for poor and near-poor households in the area according to the guiding model, ensuring quality, 3 hard criteria: hard foundation, hard frame - wall, hard roof and ensuring absolute safety.

Secretaries of district and city Party committees; Chairmen of district and city People's Committees urgently direct and implement the campaign to ensure the progress of each stage.

Phase 1, from April 1 to April 30, focuses on completing the construction and repair of 747 apartments. Of which, Ninh Son district completed the construction and repair of 183 houses, Bac Ai district 130 houses, Thuan Bac district 150 houses, Ninh Hai district 79 houses, Phan Rang-Thap Cham10 houses, Ninh Phuoc district 55 houses, Thuan Nam district repaired 140 houses. Ninh Hai district alone completed the construction and repair of houses in phase 1.

Phase 2, from January 1 to May 30, focuses on completing the construction and repair of 640 apartments. Phan Rang - Thap Cham city and Ninh Son district will be the two localities to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in phase 2.

Phase 3, from June 1 to June 30, the remaining 4 districts will complete the construction and repair of houses, including 284 houses in Bac Ai district, 106 houses in Thuan Bac district, 40 houses in Ninh Phuoc district, and 33 houses in Thuan Nam district.

Previously, through reviewing Ninh Thuan province, there was a need to support people to build 1,431 new houses and repair 507 houses.

Of which, 190 houses for meritorious people, 201 houses for the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction, 186 houses for national target programs on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas were newly built, and 1,361 houses were built for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

The locality strives to basically complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses by June 2025.
