On March 20, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province announced that the locality had approved the results of the synthesis of the demand for removing temporary and dilapidated houses in the province of 1,407 units, with a total cost of more than 57.6 billion VND, of which 515 new units were built and 892 units were repaired.
By March 15, the whole province had started construction of 443 apartments; of which 12 were completed.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province has transferred 24 billion VND to localities to complete support for repairing 797 houses for people before the Lunar New Year 2025.
For the remaining 500 newly built and repaired houses (a decrease of 71 houses compared to the decision approving 1,407 houses), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province has transferred 50% of the funding to localities.
According to the Steering Committee for the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, the whole province is currently focusing on completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for eligible households before April 30.
The support level of 60 million VND/newly built house and 30 million VND/repaired house is applied by Khanh Hoa province according to general regulations of the Central Government.
