Initial information, at about 12:00 on September 19, a fire and explosion occurred at the house of Mr. Nghiem Nghia Huu (born in 1981, registered permanent residence in Ha Cau village, An Quang commune, Hai Phong city, residing at address 291 Luong Khanh Thien, Van Trang 1 village, An Lao commune, Hai Phong city). As a result, Mr. Nghiem N.H (born in 2003, Mr. Huu's son) was injured and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
After receiving a report from the people, An Lao commune police coordinated with the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 4 (Fire and Rescue Police Department of Hai Phong City Police) to the scene to handle the incident.
After extinguishing the fire at Mr. Huu's house, An Lao Commune Police coordinated with Hai Phong City Police and the People's Procuracy of Area 2, Hai Phong City to conduct scene examination, and take investigation measures to collect evidence to resolve the case according to regulations.
Based on the initial documents collected, functional forces determined that the cause of the above-mentioned fire and explosion was due to a gas explosion suspected of leaking from the family's gas cylinder.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified.
