Previously, in the preliminary program held on August 27, many people flocked to Van Cao Street, Lieu Giai to watch the parade blocks passing by.
Due to the large number of people coming here, many people, especially children, had to stand in the back row, making it difficult to observe the parade groups.
"I saw some people with ladders so I asked. I then rented a ladder at a nearby store for 200,000 VND and had to deposit in advance. There is a ladder to help the two children observe the entire event. The 80th anniversary of National Day is very special, my family is willing to spend money to have a complete memory" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha (Hoai Duc commune, Hanoi), shared.
Ms. P (owner of a household appliance store on Van Cao Street) said that she had prepared many steps for people to rent to watch the 80th Anniversary Ceremony, parade, and parade.
"In the preliminary round program held on August 27, many people came here to rent, mainly a 2m high staircase. This staircase is guaranteed, you can comfortably sit all day watching the parade and parades" - Ms. P said.
According to Ms. P, each of these ladders has a selling price of 700,000 VND, so when people want to rent, they have to deposit the full value of the ladder.
"If rented early, the price will be 150,000 VND, but if rented right on the day of the rehearsal or officially, there will be another price, it can be up to 200,000 - 300,000 VND/stair" - Ms. P said.
According to records, many small service businesses also quickly seized the opportunity by renting a ladder. Mr. Le Van Nam (residing in Ba Dinh ward) said that in addition to some available in the store, he has ordered 5 more aluminum ladders to serve customers.
"The demand of the people is very high, many people asked early. The rental price ranges from 150,000 - 200,000 VND/time or even higher depending on the time and deposit requirement to avoid damage or loss. The 80th anniversary of National Day is a special event, so I think many people are willing to spend money to have a complete experience" - Mr. Nam said.
General rehearsal of the A80 parade and parade was held at Ba Dinh Square and central streets according to the parade route with a scale equivalent to the official ceremony.
