On February 22nd (the 6th day of Binh Ngo Tet 2026), Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, and a working delegation visited and worked at Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group (HAGL), Pleiku ward.
Here, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc - Chairman of the Board of Directors of HAGL Group said that the infrastructure advantage of Gia Lai with "2 ports, 2 airports" and fertile basalt red soil is an ideal condition for key crops such as coffee to break through. To attract investment in high-tech agriculture, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc suggested that procedures need to be quick, policies are clear so that investors can feel secure in implementing them. It is necessary to have a long-term and stable development and planning strategy, avoid mid-term changes, and at the same time make it public for businesses to grasp.
At the working session, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - said that in the future orientation, the province will work with HAGL to work with localities in Laos and Cambodia to expand economic cooperation.
The province also sets a target that by 2035, there will be at least 5 international-level enterprises and 10 reputable domestic branded enterprises, of which HAGL is expected to be the "leader" in the processing industry.
In particular, on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Gia Lai 2026, provincial leaders expressed their desire that HAGL Group will organize 2 large-scale international football tournaments. This will be an important opportunity to promote the image, people and potential of Gia Lai to international friends.
Provincial leaders hope that HAGL Club will continue to maintain a beautiful, dedicated playing style and be a place to train talents for the national team, towards the goal of the World Cup in the future.
