On the Lo River, at Vu Quang station, the water level was recorded at 7:00 a.m. the same day at 20.45 m, 0.95 m above Alarm Level 2 (7:00 a.m. on September 11, it was 20.99 m, 0.45 m above Alarm Level 3); at Viet Tri station, it was 14.56 m, 0.86 m above Alarm Level 1 (7:00 a.m. on September 11, it was 14.72 m, 1.02 m above Alarm Level 1)... the river water is slowly decreasing.
Regarding the situation of large hydroelectric reservoirs, currently, Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Reservoir has stopped discharging water, Thac Ba Hydroelectric Reservoir is discharging water through 3 surface gates, Tuyen Quang Hydroelectric Reservoir is discharging water through 3 bottom gates...
The work of overcoming the consequences of the flood is being carried out simultaneously. The People's Committee of Phu Tho province has directed departments, branches, political organizations, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to concentrate forces to support commune authorities in cleaning schools and offices, helping people clean up their houses, supporting food, drinking water, etc. Deploying measures to disinfect, sterilize; disinfect and clean the environment in flooded areas. At the same time, supporting localities to bring people back to their old places of residence to soon stabilize their lives and continue participating in production.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development directed the Irrigation Branch to send staff to the scene to provide technical support to help localities handle incidents in dike and irrigation works.
