The Tan Thai Golf Course Sports Area Project, Dai Tu District, started construction in mid-2023. The project is worth 600 billion VND with a scale of 18 international standard holes invested by Tan Thai Golf Joint Stock Company.

At the construction site, hundreds of workers and machinery were mobilized for construction. In addition to leveling, creating a flat surface, moving soil and rocks from high hills to low-lying areas, auxiliary items are also constructed synchronously. At some locations, workers are planting grass and green tree systems.
This is currently the golf course project with the largest total investment and area in Thai Nguyen province. According to the investor, contractors are focusing resources, striving to complete the project in 2025.
Tan Thai Golf Course is located in a prime location near Nui Coc Lake tourist area. Nearly 10km from the center of Thai Nguyen City. After completion, this will be a tourism highlight, contributing to job creation, increasing budget revenue, and developing the local socio-economy.
About 40km from Tan Thai Golf Course, the Glory Golf Course project in Thanh Cong Commune, Pho Yen City has also gradually taken shape.
The project has an area of nearly 54 hectares, with a scale of 18 holes, worth 388 billion VND, invested by MDA G&C Company Limited.
Started in early 2024, the shape of the golf course has gradually emerged. Workers have planted grass and completed auxiliary items.
According to the investor, the project has so far completed 70% of the work including shaping the golf course, planting grass, drainage system, electric vehicle road, clubhouse and auxiliary works. Strive to complete the project in July 2025, 2 months ahead of schedule.
Talking with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Dang Van Ty - Chairman of Thanh Cong Commune People's Committee said that the project has basically completed 54 hectares of site clearance.
According to the project progress, from the fourth quarter of 2023 to the second quarter of.2025 will deploy construction. When completed, the project will be a highlight, promoting tourism, economic and social development of the locality. At the same time, support the development of accompanying services.
Glory Golf Course is 12 km from Pho Yen City center, more than 30 km from Thai Nguyen City center, and 60 km from Hanoi City center. The North of the project borders the planned Ring Road 5 of the capital region, the South borders Suoi Lanh Lake.
According to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Thai Nguyen proposed to plan the construction of 13 golf courses associated with resorts, entertainment and recreation areas in Pho Yen City, Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen City, Song Cong City, Phu Binh District and Dong Hy District.
