Golf has long been considered a high-cost sport, often only for those with a good income. Expenses such as sticks, personal equipment, or training ground fees can cost a large sum of money.
In particular, in localities without golf courses, practicing and playing golf becomes a big challenge for those who love this sport.

This is even more difficult for Cao Bang people who are passionate about this sport because in neighboring provinces such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan or Lang Son, there are no golf courses. Some projects are only in the construction phase.
However, nature has favored giving Cao Bang a natural golf course that meets 18-hole standards, formed hundreds of years ago. That is Tinh Beach, in Thanh Long Commune, Ha Quang District, about 53km from Cao Bang City (more than 1 hour's travel). With an area of 100 hectares, Bai Tinh is like a miniature grassland, becoming an ideal location for local golfers.

A member of Cao Bang Golf Club shared: "Actually, we are not sure if Tinh playground meets the 18-hole standard or not, but the scenery is beautiful, the grass is lush green and flat, so we decided to use it as a playground."
Coming to Bai Tinh, visitors will be immersed in the poetic and majestic natural scenery. The long green grass carpet, fresh air, along with the buffaloes leisurely grazing and the pigs running around in the lake create a vivid picture of nature.
In addition, visitors can also participate in activities such as camping, experiencing local cuisine, or exploring the unique culture of the Dao people in Dapup hamlet, Thanh Long commune.

Before becoming a natural golf course, Bai Tinh was a place for local people to graze cattle. Up to now, some areas in the property are still used by people to graze buffalo and cow.
On March 5, a representative of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province said: "Most golfers often come here on weekends. The caddie team is local, which partly solves the employment needs of the people. In Bai Tinh, players have to walk, there are no electric cars or modern support vehicles, so we often jokingly call it "playing golf like a poor family".

The representative of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his hope that in the coming time, there will be investors interested in and building a standard golf course in the locality, helping to promote tourism and economic development.
