On the afternoon of January 12, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee - chaired the Conference to announce and award the Decision to appoint the Director of the Department of Finance.
At the conference, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision on the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Trong - Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Finance - to hold the position of Director of the Department of Finance. The term of office is 5 years, from January 10, 2026 to January 10, 2031.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, new Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Van Trong thanked the attention and trust of the provincial leaders. Mr. Nguyen Van Trong, born in 1975, from Tinh Khe commune; qualifications are Bridge and Road Construction Engineer, Senior in Political Theory. Before holding the position of Director of the Department of Finance, he held the positions of Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Director of the Department of Finance after the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance merged; Deputy Director, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Finance when Quang Ngai (old) and Kon Tum (old) provinces merged.
