    Long An - People taking out the trash suddenly discovered a red car lying upside down in the canal so they reported it to the authorities.

    On the morning of December 13, residents of Tan Phu commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province went to dump trash and discovered a red car lying upside down in Tram Van canal, along Go Sao street in Tan Phu commune, Duc Hoa district, so they reported it to the authorities.

    Through camera footage in the area, the car had an accident at around 9:15 p.m. on December 12. According to camera footage, while avoiding another car, the car continued to move forward and then backed up, unfortunately falling into the canal.

    Through initial verification, the victim was identified as V (38 years old), residing in An Ninh Tay commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province.

    At 9:00 a.m. on December 13, Duc Hoa District Police salvaged the 4-seat car and brought the victim's body to shore.

    Duc Hoa District Police are completing procedures to hand over the victim's body to the family for burial and are investigating the cause of the accident.
