Car collision with motorbike kills girl, driver has alcohol concentration

    Gia Lai - A collision between a car and a motorbike on National Highway 19C killed a girl on the spot. Quick inspection, the car driver had an alcohol concentration of 0.461mg/liter of breath.

    On September 22, in an exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper, leaders of Tuy Phuoc Tay Commune People's Committee (Gia Lai) confirmed that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing 1 person.

    According to initial information, at about 8:32 PM on September 21st, at Km2+330 National Highway 19C, passing Ngoc Thanh village (Tuy Phuoc Tay commune), a car with license plate 77A-039. XX driven by Mr. Do Thanh V. (born 1980, residing in Phu My commune) collided with a motorbike with license plate 77AG-061. XX driven by Ms. Phan Thi Quynh N. (born 2008, residing in Cuu An commune).

    The collision caused Ms. N. to die on the spot.

    Upon receiving the report, Tuy Phuoc Tay Commune Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Provincial Police to protect the scene and verify initial information.

    The rapid test results showed that Mr. V. had an alcohol concentration of 0.461mg/liter of breath, negative for drugs.

    The case is being investigated and handled by functional agencies according to legal regulations.
