On May 12, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 4 (Traffic Police Department) said that on May 12 and 13, 2026, traffic diversion will be organized on the Vung Ang - Bung expressway to serve construction, installation of monitoring and traffic control systems.
On May 12, from 7 am to 11:30 am, functional forces cut roads in both directions from the Tien Chau - Van Hoa intersection (Km597+900) to the QL12A - Ba Don intersection (Km605+400).
For vehicles traveling in the North - South direction, vehicles will leave the expressway at the Tien Chau - Van Hoa intersection, move along DT22 road to National Highway 1A to continue their journey and can rejoin the expressway at the QL12A - Ba Don intersection or subsequent intersections.
In the South - North direction, vehicles exit the expressway at the QL12A - Ba Don intersection, circulate along National Highway 12A and National Highway 1A to continue moving to the North.
On May 13, from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM, functional forces continued to cut roads in both directions from the QL12C intersection (Ky Anh) Km568+200 to the Tien Chau - Van Hoa intersection Km597+900.
Vehicles moving in the North - South direction will leave the expressway at the QL12C intersection (Ky Anh), travel along National Highway 1A and then merge into the expressway at the Tien Chau - Van Hoa intersection or subsequent intersections.
In the South - North direction, vehicles exit the expressway at the Tien Chau - Van Hoa intersection, follow DT22 road to National Highway 1A and can rejoin the expressway at the QL12C intersection (Ky Anh).
Functional forces noted that DT22 road connecting from Tien Chau - Van Hoa intersection to National Highway 1A has a small, narrow road surface and many curves, so large trucks need to consider choosing a suitable route when traveling.
