Diversifying the work of propagating and disseminating laws
In recent years, the work of propagating, disseminating and educating the law to people, especially ethnic minorities, has been identified as an important task in the process of sustainable socio-economic development of Dak Lak province.
In Krong No commune, the People's Committee of the commune has synchronously implemented many practical solutions to bring the law closer to the people. In particular, resources from the National Target Program play a key role, creating a foundation for propaganda work to achieve positive changes.

Krong No is an area with a large population of ethnic minorities, economic life is still difficult, people's education level is uneven, traditional customs and practices still deeply affect community activities.
Therefore, access to legal information of a part of the population is still limited, easily leading to violations of the law or not proactively protecting their legitimate rights and interests.
Faced with this reality, Ms. H'Can Ro Loc - Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Krong No commune - said that the locality has proactively developed a plan, integrated propaganda and dissemination of laws associated with the contents and projects of the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas.

One of the important solutions implemented by the commune is to diversify forms of propaganda, suitable for the characteristics of ethnic minorities.
Instead of administrative propaganda sessions, the commune increases the dissemination of laws through meetings and community activities, while integrating legal content into propaganda activities on production development, poverty reduction, and new rural construction.
The content is conveyed in familiar, easy-to-understand language, with specific examples, making it easy for people to absorb.

Mr. Y Phren Ntor, under 30 years old, from a poor household in the commune, said that his family's livelihood mainly relies on 2 sao of coffee with unstable productivity, while his two children are still young and of school age.
"Thanks to the village chief and prestigious people who regularly propagate and analyze the harmful effects of social evils, I and many young people in the village have changed their perceptions. Thinking about my wife and children, I am determined to stay away from alcohol, work hard, and take care of my family, Mr. Y Phren shared.
Building a team of dedicated and responsible grassroots cadres
Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, the awareness and sense of law compliance of the people of Krong No commune have had many positive changes. Violations of the law have gradually decreased, security and order have been maintained, and the great national unity bloc has been continuously consolidated.
Mr. Nguyen Van Huyen - Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong No commune - said that in order to improve the effectiveness of propaganda and dissemination of laws, the locality pays special attention to promoting the role of grassroots cadres, village elders, village chiefs, and prestigious people in the community.
From policy resources, the commune has organized training courses and fostered legal knowledge for this force, thereby building a solid " bridge" between the government and the people.

With prestige and understanding of local customs and practices, 13 prestigious people and village chiefs have promoted their core role in mobilizing people to comply with the law, resolving conflicts in the community, and contributing to maintaining security and order at the grassroots level.
The effective use of resources from the National Target Program has helped the People's Committee of Krong No commune improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda and dissemination of laws.
In the coming time, the commune will continue to promote this resource, while innovating the content and methods of propaganda in the direction of taking the people as the center, so that the law can truly become a tool to protect the rights and improve the quality of life for ethnic minorities in the area, Mr. Huyen emphasized.
