Speaking at the launching ceremony, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien emphasized that 2025 is an important year for the country, with many major events of historical significance.
"The Central Youth Union has proactively and promptly organized the emulation launching ceremony towards important events. The emulation results must be realized through specific works and tasks, with clear and meaningful products. These can be bridges, roads, libraries, or scientific research topics, start-up projects, modern and effective production models led by young people," emphasized Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front suggested that the Central Youth Union should pay attention to promoting propaganda work, raising awareness and responsibility in Youth Union chapters at all levels. In order for emulation campaigns to truly become profound and widespread political activities, Youth Union chapters at all levels need to be more creative and flexible in their methods of operation, so that every young person feels that the Youth Union is a common home, a place to share, contribute and grow.
The launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival organized by the Central Youth Union in Tuyen Quang province aims to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and to promote the spirit of youth volunteerism in environmental protection and response to climate change.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates participated in tree planting activities, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, inaugurated a road to light up the countryside, a community sports field, and a playground for children.
At the launching ceremony, delegates presented 40 gifts to policy families, 30 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, and 10 gifts to village elders and village chiefs with a total value of 100 million VND.
The Central Youth Union has also deployed youth projects to welcome the 14th Party Congress. The total value of deployed resources is over 21 billion VND.
Before that, the delegation offered incense at Na Nua Temple, Tan Trao Communal House, and the Memorial Site of Revolutionary Predecessors.
