Khanh Hoa - Functional forces have discovered 3 graves suspected of being martyrs' remains after receiving information provided by people.

On August 4, news from the Military Command (CHQS) of Nam Ninh Hoa commune said that 3 graves suspected of being martyrs' remains were discovered after receiving information provided by people.

Previously, on July 31, the Nam Ninh Hoa Commune Military Command received a report from people in Van Thuan and Phong Thanh villages about the discovery of 2 graves suspected of being martyrs' graves in the Suoi Chai area (Van Thuan village), and 1 grave in the Suoi Doc head area, belonging to Tan Phu village (old), now Phu Huu village.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Nam Ninh Hoa Commune Military Command established a working delegation to the scene to verify and organize the search. The delegation was led by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Hieu - Commander of the Nam Ninh Hoa Commune Military Command, along with officers and soldiers of the standing militia participating in the task.

At about 8 am on the same day, the search was deployed. The working group was divided into many small groups, reviewing areas suspected of having traces. Each artifact, each location with unusual signs was inspected, recorded and marked to serve professional work.

At about 10:30 am, after more than 2 hours of searching in hot weather and dangerous terrain, the working group determined the exact location of 3 graves suspected to be martyrs' remains.

All data, coordinates and information provided by the people have been fully recorded to serve survey, exhumation and appraisal in the coming time.

During the search, many local people actively supported and shared more information and traces passed down through the stories of people who had gone to the forest. The companionship of the people contributed to supporting the task force in the process of verifying suspected martyrs' remains.

The search, repatriation and identification of remains of martyrs who lack information is a political task of particular importance, while also reflecting the morality of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude" of the nation.

According to the Nam Ninh Hoa Commune Military Command, in the coming time, the unit will continue to coordinate to implement survey, exhumation and appraisal steps according to regulations, in order to contribute to bringing the heroic martyrs back to their comrades and families.
