According to information from the People's Committee of Le Loi commune, Hung Yen province, at about 5 am on May 22, local authorities received a report from people about the discovery of a baby boy abandoned in front of the gate of Mr. Pham Ngoc Hai's house (Dong Khanh village, Le Loi commune, Hung Yen province).
Through initial verification, the baby is male, about 2 years old, when discovered in a normal health condition, mentally stable, without signs of fear or crying.
Along with him was a backpack containing clothes, diaper bags, a pre-mixed milk bottle and a handwritten letter with information about the date of birth, the fact that he had been fully vaccinated. However, there was no birth certificate, birth certificate or other personal papers.
After a preliminary examination and initial care, the baby's health is currently stable. To date, functional agencies have not yet identified the child's biological father and mother.
Le Loi Commune People's Committee announces that if anyone is the child's father, mother or relative, please come to the Commune People's Committee headquarters to carry out procedures to receive the child within 7 days from the date of notification, no later than the end of May 31, 2026.
After the above deadline, if no one comes to claim it, the locality will proceed to register the birth and carry out relevant procedures for the child according to the provisions of law.
Le Loi Commune People's Committee also requested people if they know information about the child's biological father and mother to promptly report to the Commune Police or the Culture and Social Department of the Commune People's Committee for coordination in resolving.
