On January 17, the Political Department (Military Command of Lam Dong province) confirmed that the unit had just coordinated with the local government and the Military Command of Ward 3 Bao Loc to organize the repatriation of the remains of suspected martyrs discovered at Tan Bui Parish Cemetery.

Previously, on the morning of January 16, during the renovation and embellishment of Tan Bui Parish Cemetery (Bao Loc Ward 3), a group of workers discovered a set of remains suspected to be martyrs, so they reported it to functional agencies.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Military Command of Ward 3 Bao Loc quickly arrived to protect the scene, and at the same time reported the incident to the Military Command of Lam Dong province and local authorities to conduct verification and gathering.

During the repatriation process, functional forces discovered many artifacts including: Rubber sandals, soldier clothes, bullet casings and lighters. However, no information or documents related to the identity of the remains have been found.

The Political Department (Military Command of Lam Dong province) invited historical witnesses including Ms. Luu Thi Thanh An (81 years old, former Secretary of Bao Loc Town Party Committee, Deputy Platoon Leader cum Platoon Leader of Platoon 1 of the 8 March Female Artillery Unit) and Colonel Nguyen Duc Pho (79 years old, former Deputy Commander of the Military Command of Lam Dong province) to verify information.

According to witnesses, in May 1969, in the area where the remains were discovered, a fierce battle occurred between the Liberation Army and the enemy, causing many heroic Liberation Army soldiers to sacrifice.
Currently, the set of suspected martyrs' remains has been collected and buried at Bao Loc Martyrs' Cemetery. Functional agencies continue to verify related artifacts and expand the search area for martyrs' remains in the area.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
