On June 1st, functional forces of Lang Son province are investigating and clarifying the case of a male driver dying in the Tan Thanh border gate area.
According to initial information, at about 5 am on the same day, at Bao Nguyen parking lot in the Tan Thanh border gate area, Hoang Van Thu commune, Lang Son province, some long-distance drivers carrying fruits and agricultural products discovered a man lying motionless near a tractor-trailer with license plate 86F-0023x, pulling a trailer with license plate 86R-0135x.
When checking again, everyone determined that the victim had died, so they quickly reported to the authorities.
The victim's identity was identified as Mr. Tong Xuan L. (born in 1987, from An Dinh commune, Tuy An district, former Phu Yen province).
Immediately after receiving the news, functional units were present at the scene, conducted an autopsy, scene examination and collected relevant documents to serve the investigation.
Functional agencies have not detected signs of external force impact on the victim's body. The cause of the incident is being further clarified.
Some of Mr. L.'s colleagues said that on the night of May 31st, the male driver texted his colleague with the content feeling hot, his body sweating a lot and intending to take a bath. Until dawn the next day, the heartbreaking incident happened.
Representatives of Bao Nguyen parking lot confirmed the incident and said that the unit regularly broadcast loudspeakers to propagate and remind drivers and assistants to take health protection measures, especially during harsh weather periods in the border gate area.
Currently, functional agencies of Lang Son province have contacted the victim's family to coordinate necessary procedures to bring the body back to their hometown for burial according to local customs.
