From April 10 to now, Phu Tho province's working groups have deployed inspections of key areas such as Viet Tri, Nong Trang, Hy Cuong, Lam Thao. This is where many activities take place within the framework of the Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land and the Hung Temple historical relic area.
The inspection content focuses on 3 main areas: food safety (source of raw materials, processing conditions); market management (price listing, anti-counterfeiting, smuggling); and environment (collection and treatment of waste at business locations).
Initial results, the inter-sectoral delegation inspected 111 food service and accommodation establishments and festival service points. Through inspection, most establishments strictly comply with the provisions of law.
However, functional forces have also discovered, reminded and requested immediate remedies for some shortcomings such as: incomplete dossiers proving the origin of raw materials; food preservation conditions at some establishments are not guaranteed; price listing at some business households is still unclear.
For cases with signs of serious violations, the inspection team made records for handling, and at the same time combined propaganda and guidance for business households to raise awareness of law compliance, committing not to take advantage of the festival season to unreasonably increase prices, affecting the tourism image of the province.
In addition to inspection work, Phu Tho Provincial Police recommends that people and tourists need to raise their awareness of self-protection; proactively report violations of trade fraud, food safety and hygiene or environmental pollution to functional agencies for timely handling.
