On March 31, information from Xuan Binh Commune Police, Thanh Hoa province said that the unit had just coordinated with functional forces to complete the necessary procedures and soon release a pangolin into the natural environment.

Previously, on March 29, Mr. Ngo Xuan Son (born 1989, residing in hamlet 8, Xuan Binh commune) discovered a Java pangolin individual - a endangered, precious and rare wild animal, belonging to group IB - appearing in his family's garden, weighing about 1kg.
Knowing that this is an animal that needs to be strictly protected according to the provisions of law, Mr. Son proactively contacted and voluntarily handed over the pangolin individual to Xuan Binh Commune Police for handling according to regulations.
After receiving it, the commune police force coordinated with Xuan Binh Forest Ranger Station to check the health status, provide initial care and complete the necessary procedures to soon re-release the pangolin individual back to the natural environment.
