On March 27, Mr. Nghiem Van Tuan - Chairman of Chieng An Ward People's Committee said that the local government has coordinated with the forest ranger force to receive a culi individual handed over by the school for care and protection before releasing it into nature.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 26, students of Chieng Xom Elementary School discovered a stray culi and it was lying in the blanket and mattress cabinet of the classroom.
Immediately after the discovery, the school notified the Chieng An ward authorities and the forest ranger in charge of the area to hand over according to regulations.
After receiving it, the forest rangers checked the health status, organized care and monitoring to ensure the safety of this wild animal individual.
It is expected that when conditions are met, the cu li individual will be released back to the natural forest environment.
