On April 20, Xuan Huong Ward Police - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said they are coordinating with Lam Dong Provincial Police and professional units to investigate and identify the identity of the man who died in the protection forest area near Tuyen Lam Lake.
Previously, on April 18, people discovered a male body in the process of decomposition in the forest area near Tuyen Lam Lake, so they reported it to functional agencies.
Initially, the police agency determined that the victim died about 4 weeks ago, without identification papers.
The victim was about 1.6–1.65m tall; short black hair; jagged jaw on the upper jaw; tattooed on the right hand and back but unknown due to decomposition of the body.
At the scene, functional forces recorded a number of items including: a gray CAMEL backpack; BONNE power bank; LOCK&LOCK thermos, dark blue jeans; CAMEL men's shoes; Samsung A24 phone in blue.
According to Xuan Huong Ward Police - Da Lat, because the victim did not have identification papers and his body was decomposed, identifying and determining his identity was difficult.
Currently, the unit has issued a notice to find the victim's relatives to serve the investigation. For more information, contact phone number 0919. 892. 486 (Mr. Tu Duc Tu - Deputy Head of Xuan Huong Ward Police - Da Lat).
