The City People's Committee has just issued a Decision to establish a Working Group to deploy the organization of pedestrian streets and develop the night economy in the city.
The working group has the task of directing and coordinating, monitoring, and urging the implementation of tasks of departments, branches, localities, and units related to organizing pedestrian streets and developing the night economy in the city. At the same time, resolving and removing obstacles and difficulties, supporting businesses and organizations in the process of organizing pedestrian streets and developing the night economy in the city according to their authority; proposing commendation and proposing to review the responsibilities of collectives and individuals involved in not completing assigned tasks.
In addition, the Working Group also summarizes the deployment situation and results of tasks related to organizing pedestrian streets and developing the night economy in the city, periodically or unexpectedly reporting to the Chairman of the City People's Committee according to regulations and requirements; reporting on contents for the Chairman of the City People's Committee to consider and resolve in cases exceeding authority.
The working group is headed by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Kien. The Deputy Head is the Deputy Director of relevant departments and branches and the Chairman of Hong Bang Ward People's Committee. Members work on a part-time basis. The tasks of members are assigned by the Head of the Working Group based on the functions and tasks of agencies and units and the provisions of law.
