On June 24, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai city just decided to approve the appraisal results of the environmental impact assessment report of component project 1, investing in the construction of the section from Ma Da bridge to Ba Hao intersection in the form of public-private partnership under the project to invest in the construction of a road connecting from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City.
The project is implemented in Tri An ward, Dong Nai city; located in the Dong Nai Nature - Culture Reserve, the core area of the Dong Nai World Biosphere Reserve.

According to the approved decision, the total land use area of the project is about 54.49 ha, and the entire area belongs to special-use forest land. In which, the area with natural forest is about 10.4 ha, the area with planted forest is about 18.1 ha, and the area without forest is about 25.9 ha (including the area of planted forest that has not become forest, regenerated area and other types of land).
The project to build an elevated bridge section through the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve is about 13 km long, with a vertical clearance on the route of about 9 m to 12 m depending on terrain conditions, including 8 lanes.
The starting point at Km0+000 connects to the ending point of the Ma Da bridge construction investment project, the ending point at Km13+000 intersecting with Ba Hao intersection connecting to the starting point of component project 2 are all located in Tri An ward, Dong Nai city.

On the route, 3 intersections and 1 observation deck 45 m high are built.
intersection with the road to the Relic of the Southern Central Bureau Base at Km3+800; intersection connecting to the Relic of the Southeast Regional Party Committee Base at Km11+600 and intersection with DT. 761 Ho Ba Hao road at Km12+600.
Building a 45m high observation tower located on the land adjacent to the road to the Relic of the Central Office of the South, connected to the viaduct by the intersection at Km3+800 to serve forest fire prevention observation and animal situation observation to promptly respond to incidents.
The project is expected to arrange a noise-fighting wall with a light barrier with a height of about 4.1 m. The wall not only reduces the spread of noise but also contributes to limiting the spread of light horizontally towards the forest habitat, reducing the impact on nocturnal animals.

Previously, on April 28, the project to invest in the construction of a road connecting Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City was also approved by the People's Council delegates, with a length of about 44.5km, including 2 sections.
In which, section 1 from Ma Da bridge to Ba Hao intersection (intersection with provincial road 761) is about 13km long (section passing through Dong Nai Nature - Culture Reserve).
Section 2 from Ba Hao intersection to Ring Road 4 HCMC is about 31.5km long (including the intersection with Ring Road 4). The preliminary total investment of the project is about 28,792 billion VND.
According to the plan, on June 30, Dong Nai City will start construction of Component Project 1 investing in the construction of the section from Ma Da bridge to Ba Hao intersection in the public-private partnership method under the Project to invest in the construction of the connecting road from Ma Da bridge to Ring Road 4 HCMC.
