On June 26, Phu Dien Ward People's Committee organized forced land recovery for 8 land plots of 7 households and individuals who did not comply with the handover of land to implement the project to build the road connecting from Hanoi College of Electrical Engineering to Hoang Quoc Viet extended road.
According to Phu Dien Ward People's Committee, all cases of forced demolition are temporary construction works subject to project recovery. To date, all 8 works have been dismantled.
The coercion process is carried out in the correct order and procedures, ensuring security and order, and no complicated situations arise. The coercion is witnessed by representatives of relevant parties to ensure publicity, transparency and the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Deputy Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Phu Dien ward said that according to the plan approved by the Ward People's Committee, the project will recover a total of 522.1m2 of land from 7 households and individuals with 8 land plots with works that must be forced to be demolished. In which, there are 170.1m2 of agricultural land and 352m2 of land managed by the Ward People's Committee.

Before carrying out coercion, the Ward People's Committee has repeatedly propagated, dialogued, and mobilized households to proactively collect property, move belongings and voluntarily hand over land. However, households did not comply. On June 15, the Ward People's Committee issued a coercion decision to ensure project implementation progress.
After completing the dismantling and site clearance, the recovered land area will be handed over to the investor to implement the project to build a road section connecting from Hanoi College of Electrical Engineering to Hoang Quoc Viet extended road, contributing to completing traffic infrastructure and strengthening connectivity in the western area of the Capital.
