Recently (August 18), Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee (An Giang) simultaneously deployed forces to carry out land recovery coercion and apply remedial measures for cases of violations of land management order in Bai Thom.
Accordingly, functional forces have carried out coercive recovery of a total area of more than 43,000 m2 of land for Ms. N.T. N. N.
In which, there are more than 20,499 m2 of perennial crop land and more than 22,561 m2 including perennial crop land and rural residential land. The entire area is within the scope of recovery to implement the Vung Trau Nam fishing village residential tourist area project.

Also on the same day, the Phu Quoc special zone government implemented coercion, forcing the application of remedial measures for 7 other violations in Bai Thom.
These cases have committed acts of illegally encroaching on 655.1 m2 of land managed by the Phu Quoc Economic Zone Management Board. In addition to dismantling works and restoring the original state of the land, violators are also forced to return to the State budget the illegally collected profit of more than 100 million VND.
The strict application of coercive measures and handling of administrative violations is strictly implemented by the Phu Quoc special zone according to the provisions of the Land Law. This not only ensures the strictness of the law, protects public property but also creates a clean land fund to serve the progress of infrastructure projects and local socio-economic development.
