On the afternoon of April 18, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper contacted the local government to verify the information about the phenomenon of snakehead fish hyacinth appearing in the coastal area of An Thoi Ward, Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang Province). An Thoi ward leader confirmed that a dragon fruit appeared this morning as shown in a video posted on social media.
This leader also informed that while he was inspecting the area, he himself witnessed the above phenomenon. Dragon's nest appeared in the Red soil Beach area, creating a large whirlwind of water.
"This is a natural phenomenon that can occur in many places, the snakehead fish appeared this morning did not affect the surrounding vehicles and people," the leader of An Thoi ward added.
Previously, on the morning of April 18, a video clip of a dragon snake appeared on social media in the waters of An Thoi area, Phu Quoc City.
According to the image recorded in the video clip, people in the mainland could see it very clearly. Many people also took out their phones to record the scene. At the time the dragon fruit formed a very large whirlwind, there were many ships and boats around but it did not affect them.
This phenomenon appeared for a while and then dissolved spontaneously. Many people also left comments under the video clip and said that during the Southern Sea of Phu Quoc, dragon fruit appeared, but this time the water was very strong and it looked very clear.
According to scientific explanations, the snakehead fish is a phenomenon of strong, winding winds in a very small area, sucking from the ground to the clouds ( thick water clouds), forming a mobile fold, looking like a fish sauce.
Most of the dragon fruit hoses are formed from thunderstorms, especially thunderstorms that store electricity. A thunderstorm can last for several hours, spinning in an area with a diameter of 10 - 16 km, moving for hundreds of km, generating countless giant hoses. On the way, the snakehead fish can sweep or destroy everything.
