According to the report of the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province, immediately after the T3 pillar of Song Lo bridge in Doan Hung commune was damaged, on the afternoon of October 27, the authorities banned all people and vehicles from traveling through the bridge.

The Vice Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to assess the overall system of bridge piers, not just the T3 location.

While waiting for the appraisal results, the province requested to urgently re-establish Doan Hung ferry terminal, arrange specialized ferries to serve the transportation of people and vehicles across the Lo River to ensure convenient and absolutely safe travel needs.
Doan Hung Commune People's Committee must coordinate with functional forces to strictly control transportation activities across the river, prevent spontaneous ferry terminals, and strictly handle vehicles that do not ensure safety conditions.
