According to the report of the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province, immediately after the T3 pillar of Song Lo bridge in Doan Hung commune was damaged, on the afternoon of October 27, the authorities banned all people and vehicles from traveling through the bridge.

Doan Hung Commune People's Committee must coordinate with functional forces to strictly control transportation activities across the river, prevent spontaneous ferry terminals, and strictly handle vehicles that do not ensure safety conditions.
