On October 25, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh and Ms. Le Thi Suong (residing in Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province) said that they had received a transfer form of petition and reflection from the Internal Political Security Department (Khanh Hoa Provincial Police).
According to the content of the petition, Mr. Binh and Ms. Suong reflected that the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, based on Decision No. 252/2001/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, reclaimed land from nearly 200 households in Phuoc Dong commune, Nha Trang city (now Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province).

After the reclamation, the locality handed over the land to Hoan Cau Construction Trading Company Limited to implement the Song Lo Tourist and Entertainment Project.
The households said that the above land recovery was not in accordance with legal regulations and requested the competent authorities of the Provincial Police to consider and resolve the case.
According to the Document of the Office of the Investigation Police Agency (Khanh Hoa Provincial Police), the petition of Mr. Nguyen Van Binh and Ms. Le Thi Suong coincides with the content of the petition approved by the Head of the Investigation Police Agency to the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling, and Environment.
Therefore, the Internal Political Security Department has transferred the citizen's petition to this unit for consideration and settlement in accordance with legal regulations.
Also in October 2025, Nam Nha Trang ward invited a dialogue with people affected by the Song Lo Tourism and Entertainment Area project.
The dialogue content is about the plan to support people when the State reclaims land to implement the Song Lo Tourism and Entertainment Area project.
After that, the ward will work with the project investor to agree on continuing to support the remaining households to report to the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for consideration.
Previously, in September 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed a decision to direct and assign the Government Inspectorate to urgently conduct a comprehensive inspection of the Song Lo Tourism and Entertainment Project.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested Khanh Hoa province to continue to comprehensively review and fully update information and a list of projects with difficulties, problems, and long-standing backlogs, ensuring that no cases are left unused or overlooked.
The province must be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information on the database system of Steering Committee 751.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that the inspection process needs to focus on content with signs of violations, related to the difficulties and problems of each project; Absolutely do not take advantage of it for widespread inspection, causing difficulties for businesses.
