At the press conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province presented a press release on the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival - Hung Temple Festival and the Culture - Tourism Week of the Land of Origin in Binh Ngo year 2026 (Festival).
This year, the Festival is organized with many unique activities, carrying the heroic spirit of the Hung Kings era and being inherited and continued in contemporary society.
In which, the Hung Kings Commemoration activities are organized solemnly, solemnly, and respectfully according to national cultural traditions with incense and flower offering rituals of delegations of Party, Government, central ministries and branches, provinces and cities, and a large number of people across the country.
The ceremony part with traditional rituals, including incense offering ceremony to commemorate, death anniversary ceremony, palanquin procession ceremony, incense offering and flower offering ceremony, lasts from April 7 to April 26 (ie February 20 to March 10 of the Binh Ngo year).

The Festival part includes a series of 25 attractive cultural, sports, and tourism events, lasting from the opening day of the festival on April 17 (ie, the 1st day of the 3rd year of Binh Ngo) to May 4 (ie, the 18th day of the 3rd year of Binh Ngo).
This year, the Festival has many notable new points. Cultural, sports and tourism activities are expanded in scale and organizational space (the number of activities is higher, taking place in relics and localities in the province), forming a series of events in the Culture - Tourism Week of the Land of Origin.
This is the first year Phu Tho province has organized an international fine arts exhibition. This activity contributes to expanding cultural foreign affairs activities and promoting Phu Tho's image to international friends.
In addition, many vibrant and attractive traditional cultural activities during the festival such as: Cultural camps and displays, promotions, and introductions of local products; Phu Tho Provincial Mass Arts Festival; Phu Tho Provincial Chung cake wrapping and cooking contest, Day cake pounding contest... are organized according to 18 commune and ward clusters, creating regional links and strengthening exchanges and spreading grassroots culture.

One of the highlights is the restoration of the Street Folk Culture Festival. This activity will connect with the program "Colors of Tourism of the Ancestral Land" and perform prize-winning performances at the mass art festival, creating a continuous chain, contributing to attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate, while preserving and promoting the unique cultural heritage values of the Ancestral Land region.
In addition, within the framework of the program, some activities such as: Marathon, Hung Vuong Cup Golf Tournament, Street Folk Culture Festival, Rowing Race on Van Lang Park Lake, Orchid Art Display... are socialized, contributing to enhancing the attractiveness of the Festival.
A series of cultural, sports, and tourism activities during the Festival will be organized cheerfully, healthily, imbued with the cultural identity of origin; at the same time, widely promote the potential and strengths of Phu Tho's cultural tourism resources to compatriots nationwide, overseas Vietnamese and international tourists.
