According to the Phu Yen Province Hydrometeorological Station, in the next 24 hours, the storm's eye will be at about 17.5 degrees North latitude, 113.5 degrees East longitude, in the North East Sea, about 160km northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago, level 11-12, gust level 15; natural disaster risk level, level 3.
Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 110/CD-TTg dated October 24, 2024 on focusing on emergency response to storm No. 6, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan requested localities, military forces, police and units to closely monitor the developments of storm No. 6.
Coastal and estuary localities shall direct the implementation of measures to ensure the safety of people and property. Instruct ships and boats that have come ashore or entered storm shelters in the area to arrange for secure and safe anchorage to avoid collisions due to storm winds; instruct on the movement and reinforcement of aquaculture and seafood cages to ensure safety.

Owners of reservoirs, irrigation and hydropower plants need to ensure safety for works and downstream areas of irrigation and hydropower reservoirs when discharging floodwater; strictly follow procedures and regulations and review and check the timely provision of information to relevant agencies, units and localities before discharging floodwater.
The provincial Department of Transport coordinates with the police force to proactively deploy measures to control and divert traffic to prevent congestion, ensure safety for passengers and means of transport operating in affected areas when heavy rain and floods occur; prepare forces, means and materials to promptly overcome the consequences, and ensure traffic on main routes.
The Provincial Military Command and Provincial Police proactively directed the review of plans to mobilize forces and means to be ready to support localities in responding to storms and floods, evacuating people, and conducting search and rescue when required.
