HÀ ANH CHIẾN |

Dong Nai - 6 bridges connecting Dong Nai province with Binh Duong province have been agreed on investment plans, expected to start construction in 2025 and 2026.

On May 5, according to information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, the province sent an official dispatch to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province to ask for consensus on the division of investment responsibilities for 4 road bridges connecting the two localities including Tan An bridge, Thanh Hoi bridge, Tan Hien bridge and Xom La 2 bridge.

Previously, in April 2025, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province and the Department of Construction of Binh Duong province held a meeting to agree on the implementation of connecting bridges between the two provinces and agreed to divide the investment responsibility for the implementation of connecting road bridges between the two localities.

Dong Nai province will deploy the construction of Xom La 2 bridge (on Pham Van Dieu street) and Tan Hien bridge. These projects are expected to start construction in 2026.

On the side of Binh Duong province, investment will be implemented in the construction of Thanh Hoi 2 bridge and Tan An bridge, expected to start construction in 2026.

In addition to the 4 road bridges mentioned above, Dong Nai will also invest in the construction of Thu Bien 2 bridge (under the Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City project), expected to start construction in 2025.

Meanwhile, Binh Duong province will invest in the construction of Hieu Liem 2 bridge, expected to start construction in 2025.

According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, after the People's Committee of Binh Duong province has opinions on the above plan, the Provincial People's Committee will synthesize and seek opinions from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
