The Vietnam Road Administration requests VEC, VETC Company and VDTC Company to study and organize toll collection for the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway to serve the opening of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway according to the plan:
For vehicles without input information, create OTC transactions at output toll collection lanes.
For vehicles with input information and after 03 hours (or depending on the actual situation) without output information, calculate and collect vehicle fees for output at the intersection with the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
The Vietnam Road Administration requests units to urgently study and deploy the toll collection operation of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway according to the above plan on May 24, 2026.
In which, VEC is studying and implementing a plan to organize guidance and arrange separate toll collection lanes for vehicles entering from the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway to ensure safety and smooth traffic; proactively arrange and strengthen personnel to operate at toll collection lanes to promptly guide and support handling of vehicles that encounter problems in the toll collection process; and at the same time coordinate to inspect, review and handle unusual transactions, ensuring continuous toll collection and minimizing traffic congestion.
VETC Company and VDTC Company closely coordinate, have solutions to create OTC transactions, post-inspect, counter-inspect and collect fees in accordance with the fee collection plan.
In case relevant units have fully implemented inspection, review, post-inspection, reconciliation and information verification measures according to regulations but do not have enough data to accurately determine vehicle journey; or vehicle owners/customers do not cooperate in the verification and collection process, the service provider providing toll collection is responsible for continuing to monitor and coordinate with functional agencies to carry out collection according to regulations.
Assign Road Management Zone IV to coordinate and supervise units in the implementation process.
