The project to renovate and decorate at gateways and roads in Phong Chau ward was approved by the People's Committee of this ward according to Decision No. 1477/QD-UBND dated August 10, 2026.
This is a project belonging to group C, with a total investment of 20 billion VND invested by the Phong Chau Ward Project Management Board.
According to the reporter's investigation, the investor recently issued a bidding invitation notice for Package No. 06: Construction of the project.
Package No. 06 was widely bid through the network, with a value of more than 17.5 billion VND from the state budget and mobilized from other legal capital sources.
In the near future, after having the contractor selection results, the winning bidder will carry out renovation and decoration at gateways and roads in Phong Chau ward for 12 months.
Since its establishment, Phong Chau ward has mobilized large resources to build and upgrade the transportation network. The ward has focused on building roads connecting industrial clusters, renovating and upgrading main roads to people's roads.
Typically, there is the project to upgrade and renovate Hung Vuong road section from provincial road 320B to National Highway 2. This project has a total investment of more than 47 billion VND, started construction from the end of 2025 and is now about to be completed.
According to reporters' records on the morning of September 4, the construction contractor is asphalting the road surface at the section adjacent to Phu Ha industrial park. This is one of the final items before the project is completed.
According to the design, the project will construct a 997.15m long road according to the road level as the main axis of the area along with a drainage system and other auxiliary works.
The Hung Vuong road section that has been renovated and upgraded has a roadbed width of 35m, a road surface of 21m, a median strip of 3m, and sidewalks on each side of 3.3m.
In particular, the old, degraded cement concrete road surface has been replaced with asphalt concrete. Drainage systems, sidewalks, green trees, lighting... are built and installed synchronously and modernly.
Projects such as: Construction of traffic roads to Phu Ho Industrial Cluster; Renovation and upgrading of traffic roads from zone 1 to zone 10; Renovation of roads from National Highway 2 to zone 1, zone 10... all have a total investment of tens of billions of VND.
Traffic projects and urban embellishment projects being implemented have helped make the urban appearance of Phong Chau ward more spacious and modern.
