At the conference, the subcommittees in charge of preparation reported specifically on the progress and results of implementing assigned tasks. The draft Political Report submitted to the congress received high consensus, reflecting closely the reality and setting development goals suitable to the conditions of the ward.
Propaganda work was widely deployed, ensuring information about the congress to a large number of cadres, party members and people. Diverse propaganda channels, including: Ward electronic information portal, internal broadcasting system and visual propaganda through billboards, banners, and national flags are solemnly arranged, creating an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere. The art program to welcome the congress focuses on praising the Party, Uncle Ho and the tradition of a renewed homeland, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and determination to build a sustainable development ward.
In addition, logistics, reception, security and safety for the congress were also carefully prepared. The facilities serving the congress have been upgraded, fully equipped, and ready for the congress' activities. The reissuance of new party membership cards to all official party members of the ward was implemented quickly, and social activities such as general environmental sanitation were also carried out synchronously and practically.
At the same time, the Ward People's Committee reported on the implementation of the Government's decrees on policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces in the work of reorganizing the political system, ensuring stable and effective operation.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Nguyen Truong Thang - Party Committee Secretary - highly appreciated the efforts of the subcommittees, emphasizing that the first Tan Hung Ward Party Congress is an important political event, marking an important turning point in the process of building the Party organization and orienting local development in the new term. The Party Secretary requested the subcommittees to continue to coordinate closely, speed up progress, and complete all preparations for the congress to take place successfully, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency.
People expect a new leadership team
Not only the Party organizations and people in the ward also expressed special attention and great expectations for the new leadership team to be elected at the congress. Mr. Tang Xuan Ha - a retired military officer of Division 363, a typical voter in the locality - shared:
In the context of the new two-level local government coming into operation, the establishment of the Tan Hung Ward Party Committee is an important development step, but it will certainly face many difficulties and challenges. I hope the congress will elect leaders with strategic vision, organizational capacity and effective and decisive management ability to develop the ward sustainably."
Mr. Ha further emphasized: The new leadership team not only needs to have good moral qualities but also needs to know how to listen to people's opinions, especially at the grassroots level.
