Tan Hung ward was established on the basis of arranging administrative units including the entire natural area and population of Hai Tan ward, Tan Hung, Ngoc Son commune and part of the area and population of Tran Phu ward.
In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee and people of the localities now under Tan Hung ward have promoted the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, overcome difficulties, complete and exceed many targets set by the Congress Resolution.
Party building work has received attention, the quality of Party members has been improved, the annual task completion rate has reached 98% to 100%, of which the task completion rate is good at 85% - 93%. During the term, 63 new party members were admitted, 58 reserve party members were officially transferred and 615 Party Badges were awarded.
The socio-economic development of the area is quite comprehensive. The industrial production value increased by an average of 13.8%/year, exceeding the Congress target by 7.13%.
There are currently 866 enterprises operating in the area, along with 744 individual business households. The fields of trade and services exploit local advantages well. Scientific application and digital transformation work is focused on. The cultural, artistic and sports movements have been positively responded to by the people, the rate of cultural families reached 95.1%, and cultural residential areas reached 100%.
This Congress raised the theme: "Inheriting and promoting historical and cultural traditions, solidarity and creativity; innovating leadership methods, building an effective and efficient Party Committee and government; developing Tan Hung ward quickly, synchronously and sustainably".
In the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee has identified 3 breakthrough tasks: improving the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees; developing modern and sustainable urban areas; promoting comprehensive digital transformation.
At the same time, the ward will implement key projects and works, striving to build Tan Hung into a comprehensive urban area, synchronous and modern connecting infrastructure; attracting high-value industrial industries, developing model real estate projects; preserving and exploiting historical values, cultural identity associated with flower and ornamental plant growing areas.
At the Congress, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Tan Hung Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 29 comrades; at the same time, elected 3 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the City Party Committee Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
