"My family has 6 khauons, each khau is 100,000 VND, with this extra amount of money, my family will buy fish meat to make a feast to prepare for the National Day" - Ms. Hoang said.

Unable to hide her joy, Ms. Bui Thi Day shared that despite economic difficulties, the independent New Year is always the day she look forward to the most.
"Today, my children and grandchildren from far away return to reunite with their families. This year, I have prepared chicken, duck... to make three trays of food for my children and grandchildren to celebrate. The money the State gave me will be used to buy a souvenir. This year, the whole family has enough meetings, and there are gifts from the State, so it is very happy" - Ms. Day said emotionally.
Similarly, in Tien Phong commune, people were also very excited and happy to receive gifts from the State.
Mr. Ly Van Thien, (Dao ethnic group) in Lau Bai hamlet, emotionally said: "Independence Day is our most important occasion. This year, it is happier when the whole neighborhood has gifts, everyone is excited".
According to Ms. Ban Kim Quy - Chairman of Tien Phong Commune People's Committee, all gifts have been delivered to the people.
"With difficult economic conditions, this is truly a great source of encouragement for the people" - Ms. Quy said.
