On September 18, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province issued Document No. 3879/UBND-CNXD on continuing to implement a number of contents to resolve the Phong Chau bridge collapse incident.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Transport to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units: Decide on the demolition of the collapsed Phong Chau bridge structure, clean up the incident scene, salvage vehicles and construction structures.
The implementation must ensure the safety of people, vehicles, property and neighboring structures in compliance with the provisions of Article 45 of Decree 06/2021/ND-CP dated January 26, 2021 of the Government, relevant regulations and instructions of the Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 3801/UBND-NCKS dated September 13, 2024 on the implementation of the search and rescue plan for the Phong Chau bridge collapse incident.
The Department of Transport urgently develops an implementation plan and sends it to the Provincial Military Command on September 18, 2024.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province assigned the Commander of the Provincial Military Command - Deputy Head of the Provincial Civil Defense Command, in charge of rescue and relief work: Approve the plan to demolish the collapsed Phong Chau bridge structure, clean up the incident scene, salvage vehicles and construction structures; ensure compliance with current regulations. Request approval of the plan by September 19, 2024.
Assign the Provincial Military Command to establish a monitoring team to record the implementation process of the Department of Transport; take photos, film, collect evidence, record necessary documents to serve the work of determining the cause of the incident and prepare an incident profile before demolition and cleanup.
Accordingly, the members of the Supervisory Team include: The Team Leader is the leader of the Provincial Military Command; the Deputy Team Leader is the leader of the Department of Construction; members include: Department of Transport, Provincial Police, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Lam Thao District People's Committee and Tam Nong District People's Committee. The requirement is to complete by September 19, 2024.
The above agencies and units are responsible for: sending officers to participate in the Monitoring Team and sending them to the Provincial Military Command on September 19, 2024.
