On the evening of April 25, a preliminary inspection of the state-level parade and parade took place in the center of Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Attending the preliminary approval ceremony were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.
The preliminary approval session included 36 groups of forces from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, along with 12 groups of parades led by Ho Chi Minh City.
Notably, the preliminary review session tonight has 3 more military groups from China, Cambodia and Laos participating.
This afternoon, 118 Chinese military officers and soldiers arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to participate in the April 30 parade at the invitation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.
Previously, the Lao and Cambodian army sent many officers and soldiers to, after a period of training in Binh Duong, to train with the Vietnamese armed forces on the evening of April 22 in Ho Chi Minh City.
