On February 23, Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee said that during the Binh Ngo Tet 2026, the market management force inspected 328 cases, administratively sanctioned 296 cases with 313 acts, with a total fine of more than 4.4 billion VND.
In which, administrative fines were nearly 3.2 billion VND; revenue from selling confiscated goods was nearly 1.3 billion VND; the value of goods forced to be destroyed was more than 1.6 billion VND.
Before and during Tet, the province directs to strengthen inspection and control of the market, focusing on commercial centers, supermarkets, wholesale markets and large food business establishments.
Functional forces focus on inspecting the listing and sale at the right price; strictly handle acts of speculation, hoarding goods, and unreasonable price increases.
The province also implements price stabilization solutions, ensuring supply and demand of essential goods, contributing to market stability and protecting consumer rights.
According to the Dak Lak Provincial Market Management Department, in the context of high purchasing power during Tet, the acts of trading in prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, and poor quality goods pose many risks. However, functional forces have promptly detected, prevented, and strictly handled violations.
