On the morning of November 3, according to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the weather in Quang Binh province was cloudy, with light rain in some places.
According to Vinasarcom and the Quang Binh Province Civil Defense Command, after the impact of storm No. 6, the water has receded, and there are no more flooded or isolated households in the province. National and provincial highways have been cleared of flooding and reopened.
On the morning of November 3, the Quang Binh Hydrometeorological Station said that in the next 48 hours, the locality is forecast to experience heavy to very heavy rain.
According to the forecast, from the evening and night of November 3 to the morning of November 5 in Quang Binh province, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and very heavy rain in some places with total rainfall ranging from 80-300mm, and over 320mm in some places. Be on guard for localized rain with an intensity greater than 120mm/3 hours.
Warning during the day and night of October 5, Quang Binh area will still have heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms, with common rainfall from 70-150mm, some places over 200mm.
Heavy rains are forecast to cause flash floods and landslides in Tuyen Hoa and Minh Hoa districts; mountainous areas of Bo Trach, Quang Trach, Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts; and risk of flooding in low-lying areas, riverside areas and urban areas.
