HUE - While some low-lying areas in Hue have not yet drained all the water, the locality is preparing to welcome heavy and complicated rain.

On November 2, the Center for Hydrometeorology of Thua Thien Hue province issued a warning that from the evening of November 3 to November 9, there will be heavy rain, very heavy rain in this province. The total rainfall for the entire period is commonly 500 - 850mm, in some places over 1,000mm. This is a very complicated period of rain, lasting for many days, with the heaviest rain concentrated from November 5 to 8.

The Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control of Thua Thien Hue province announced that localities need to proactively guard against localized rain in a short period of time (can reach 150mm/hour and over 300mm/6 hours), which can cause urban flooding and areas with poor drainage systems in some districts, towns and Hue city.
