All 15 mining areas, including: 8 sand mines, 3 stone mines and 4 soil mines, are located in the old Kon Tum province. The mines have not yet had exploration results, with a total area of over 66 hectares, total estimated resource reserves of nearly 2.9 million m3; The starting price is determined by the collection of rights for granting with a total value of nearly 13 billion VND.
Of which, the sand mine has the smallest forecast reserve of 10,000 m3, the largest of 200,000 m3, the total reserve of 8 mines is nearly 376,000 m3. All 4 mines are relatively large, with a total reserve of nearly 1.4 million m3, the smallest mine is 161,700 m3, the largest is 469,200 m3.
This time, Quang Ngai province only auctioned 3 quarries with a total estimated resource reserve of more than 1 million m3, instead of 6 quarries as previously approved, including the mines: Village 12, Dak Ruong commune (area of 1.2ha, reserve of 360,000 m3), Dak Ro De village, Ngoc Bay commune - location 1 (11.8ha, 354,000 m3) and Dak Ro De village quarry, Ngoc Bay commune - location 2 (11.8ha, 354,000 m3).
Quang Ngai currently has 135 licensed mineral mines. Of which, the eastern part of the province (old Quang Ngai) has 74 mines, the western part of the province (old Kon Tum) has 61 points.
