In the evening of 24.5, talking to the Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Secretary of Pho Khanh Commune Party Committee, confirmed that the upgrade and construction of roads had been completed to ensure convenience for the leaders of the Party, the State, functional agencies and people to visit and see the President of the President to the final resting place. Mr. Thanh said that the locality has made efforts to complete the repair and upgrade of 1.5km of existing rural concrete roads and build 430m of new roads to the burial area at the foot of Tham Bo mountain, Dien Truong village.
"Up to now, the preparation work has been completed. We have finished cleaning everything, the preparation work has been completed since the day before, including the road construction, clearing and pruning around Uncle Ho's final resting place," said Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh.
Previously, on May 23, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province announced the solemn organization of the National Funeral Ceremony for former President Tran Duc Luong in the province, in accordance with national rituals. The National Day will take place on May 24 and 25. During this time, agencies and offices in the province will hang invitation flags, have ribbon covers and stop all cultural, artistic, sports and public entertainment activities to commemorate the former President's gratitude.
The visitation ceremony was held from 7:00 a.m. on May 24 to 7:00 a.m. on May 25 at three locations: Hall T50, Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command (No. 142 Le Trung Dinh, Quang Ngai city); Duc Pho Town Cultural Center; and Hall of Pho Khanh Commune People's Committee, Duc Pho Town.
To ensure solemnity and unity, the groups visiting are required not to bring wreaths but only carry black fabric tapes measuring 1.2m x 0.2m, on which the words "Victory" with the name of the agency, organization or individual are attached to the wreath prepared by the Organizing Committee.
