The 2026 Excellent Reporter and Propagandist Contest of Quang Ninh province is being implemented for more than 3 months with the theme "Promoting determination to build Quang Ninh rich, strong, civilized, modern, and happy".
The contest is organized in 5 clusters with the participation of 118 contestants from 59 party committees directly under the province.
Through the rounds of competition, the Organizing Committee selected 15 excellent contestants to enter the provincial-level final round.
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest is not only a professional activity but also becomes a widespread political activity throughout the province, contributing to bringing the Party's resolution closer to cadres, party members and people by expressing it vividly and closely to reality.
At the award ceremony on the evening of May 19, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of ranking as excellent reporters and propagandists to 15 contestants; awarded thematic prizes, first, second, third and consolation prizes of the Quang Ninh Provincial Excellent Reporter and Propaganda Officer Contest 2026.
The first prize belonged to contestant Phan Xuan Thuong - Deputy Head of the Political Department, Quang Yen Area 5 Defense Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Military Party Committee.
Also at the program, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to commend the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for collectives with outstanding achievements in directing and organizing the contest.
In 2025, the movement "Learning and Following Uncle Ho" was widely implemented at Party committees, agencies, and units in the province with 959 registered examples.
Through the movement, many good models and creative ways of doing things have appeared, contributing to socio-economic development and building a strong political system.
At the program, 39 typical advanced collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit from the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee in the "Learning and Following Uncle Ho" movement.
