Urgently construct key projects
After the Lunar New Year holiday, from the 6th day of the Lunar New Year (February 3), the Quang Tri Industrial Park project in Hai Lang district continued to be implemented. This project is invested by Quang Tri Development Joint Venture Company Limited with an area of over 481 hectares, total investment capital of 2,074 billion VND. Currently, the project is constructing infrastructure and leveling the ground in phase 1 (the project is divided into 3 phases).
At the construction site, there are many machines, vehicles, and construction tools to level the wastewater treatment plant, internal roads, rainwater and wastewater drainage systems, and water supply systems. In 2025, the investor aims to complete the construction of the wastewater treatment plant and the main road connecting to the North-South railway and National Highway 1.
Also in Hai Lang district, the construction site of My Thuy Port Area has been bustling again after the Tet holiday with a large number of workers and the sound of machinery. This project is invested by My Thuy International Port Joint Stock Company with an area of 685 hectares, a scale of 10 berths, ensuring the reception of ships with a capacity of up to 100,000 tons, with a total investment of 15,000 billion VND. Currently, the construction unit has mobilized 9 equipment sets, ready to work in 3 shifts, 4 crews to promptly hand over berth No. 1 by the end of November 2025, berth No. 2 in February 2026.
At Van Ninh - Cam Lo highway, although after the Tet holiday is unfavorable, the units still overcome difficulties to continue the construction of unfinished items. 30.6.

Currently, there are 5 Industrial Parks (IPs) established in the province with a total area of 1,599.2 hectares. By December 31, 2024, there were 197 registered investment projects in the IPs and economic zones in the province, with a total capital of 172,356.43 billion VND. Annual revenue is about 10,000 billion VND; State budget contribution is about 500 billion VND. The average labor force in the IPs and economic zones is about 6,700 people with an average income of 6.9 million VND/person/month.
In addition, immigration and import-export activities through international border gates have increased in recent years compared to previous years. In 2024, the State budget revenue through the two international border gates will reach VND915 billion.
Mr. Ha Sy Dong - Acting Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee - said that on the first working day after Tet holiday, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Tri province inspected the implementation of key projects in the area. From there, there is a plan to urge, inspect and speed up the implementation of key projects.
"We will regularly inspect and review projects that have been granted investment policies but are not implemented to have solutions and plans to completely handle them in order to create a healthy and fair investment environment," said Mr. Ha Sy Dong.
